Written Lesson Plans
Christopher takes time every week to write out lesson plans for each individual student, so that he can be as efficient as he can during lessons.
He also takes a broader view, and prepare as many advanced techniques as he can months in advance, to continue the forward momentum when learning something new.
Repertoire Recordings
There are some exercises, or pieces that either don't have an easily accessible recording, or that a recording doesn't exist. In those rare cases, Christopher will record those pieces in our lessons, and send them to you, so you can listen to them during your practice as a reference.
Practice Video Review
When necessary, Christopher has his students send videos of various pieces, or assignments that he gives them at their lesson. He finds that it's helpful for some students to have feedback mid-week, so that they know what the next step should be, or if there is something that needs to be corrected.
